Impress Nails

I have ALWAYS been a fan of fake nails. When I was little I used to wear the press on nails that would pop right off when you took your firm grip off of them. I remember the first time my mom let me get a full set of acrylic nails. I was hooked. Depending on where I am at financially, I have worn sets of acrylic nails throughout my teen and adult life. I usually end up getting them done for an event, get them filled in 4 or 5 times and then take them off until the next big event. Since the babies were born I haven't had the time to keep them up so I haven't had them in a while. I read a couple of reviews of the Impress nails. I thought it was worth a shot for a date Cory and I had coming up in Atlanta. I was truly Impressed. Pun most definitely intended.

They come with a cleansing pad that you use to prep your nails. You find the size that fits best, peel off the backing, press on and you're done. That is all. While OF COURSE they didn't feel as sturdy as acrylic nails, they didn't feel like they were going to pop off either. I kept them on for about 48 hours and only took them off because I wanted to, not because they were coming off on their own. They come with a little nail file which was useful because the tips of mine had glitter that made it a little rough. I really loved these and will definitely be playing around with the fun designs in the future.

See aren't they pretty? Not bad for $5!
